CONSUMER CONFIDENCE REPORTS (CCR) in BOISE 0.3 DW CEUS (This training is sponsored by EPA)
This training will be held at the Idaho Correctional Industries Training Center in Boise, off Orchard St, Suite #110.
Please park to the west of the building.
This training course will help you with the preparation of a Consumer Confidence Report that meets DEQ requirements.
Each year your system must provide certain information to the public, including the level of various constituents in your drinking water and any violations your drinking water system may have accrued. This class will explain the purpose of a Consumer Confidence Report and what information must be included.
This class will also educate you on how to use the “CCR iwriter program” from DEQ, including how to enter the required data to generate a generic report. You will learn how to interpret the data provided by DEQ in sampling and violation reports, and how to add it to your CCR properly.
Finally, this class will provide guidance on how to create a pleasing CCR publication for your water customers to review. You will be shown examples that were created with Microsoft Publisher software.
It is important that your customers are up-to-date on the water system every year and feel they are informed about the water they drink. Creating an effective, aesthetically-pleasing document for their reference is an important part of developing a Consumer Confidence Report and ensuring compliance with DEQ while pleasing the public.
